Animal Technician (KMAT1w):
SKCC has an immediate opening for an animal husbandry technician to work
in its vivarium. This position is responsible for following vivarium
SOP’s
relative to cage and equipment cleaning and animal care. Successful candidates
must be able to work weekends and holidays; speak, read and write English;
able to carry, lift, push, pull up to 50lbs; and stand and/or walk for
long periods of time. Prior work experience in a research environment
and/or vivarium preferred but not required. High school diploma or GED
required; AALAS certification or training is preferred. SKCC offers a competitive

Manager, Facilities (FM5W)
This position is responsible for supervising the facilities team in the
overall maintenance of research facilities and equipment. Additional duties
include coordinating moves, selecting and negotiating with service vendors,
interfacing with subtenants, and being an active participant in overall
operational management. Requires previous facilities management experience,
preferably in a scientific/laboratory environment. Knowledge of HVAC and
building construction also helpful. Must be available to respond to emergency
calls during evening and weekend hours.
